Operations Planner

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Planner to join our clients leadership Team. Tou will be working closely with the Warehouse Managers and site supervisors for scheduling/planning. Your primary goals will be to achieve budgetary targets, exceed customer expectations in quality and service, planning and scheduling for our warehousing network.

Position: Operations Scheduler/Planner

Location: Wiri & Onehunga

Shifts: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm - Occasional Weekend

Rate: $31-$34ph + Holiday Pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure seamless communication channels.
• Work closely with warehousing managers and site supervisors to fulfill customer requirements and optimize scheduling/planning.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely execution of warehousing tasks.
• Plan and schedule workloads for optimal utilisation and efficiency across various business units.
• Provide high-level customer service, maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Cross-train with operations controllers' staff to ensure comprehensive workflow coverage.

Requirements:

• Experience in Logistics, Transport Industry 
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
• Previous experience in dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship-building skills.
• Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Literate in Microsoft office systems and SAP.
