We have an exciting opportunity for a Second-in-Charge Production Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the night shift!

Location: East Tāmaki

Shift: Monday to Friday 10.45pm to 7.15am (some weekends)

Rate: $30.00 per hour + Holiday Pay

Initially employed as a full-time temp, the role is designed to go permanent for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot various production machines with precision and expertise.
• Lead and supervise a dedicated team of 15 skilled workers on the night shift.
• Ensure production targets are met efficiently while maintaining top-notch quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to develop and implement production plans.
• Assist in employee training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Proven experience in machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
